The City with five seasons

so I find my self in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Where the city slogan is" the city with five seasons". It gave me pause till I figured it out---

winter

spring

summer

fucking under water

and finally, fall

These children of the corn people out here are freaking me out. said one- "its not fair katrina got more press". i was tempted to reply " yea, but you didn't have as many floating bodies or a guy named Brownie to come to the rescue.

my new boss said, we are only looking for hard workers, are you a hard worker?

again i was tempted to reply- yes

but instead i said well i get tremendous amount done every day but sometimes i make it look too easy
